A beautiful new home in Vermont... by Jordane Baker

We recently have found a new home in the incredibly beautiful Mad River Valley, Vermont. We are servicing the Vermont region of Killington, Rochestor, Warren, Sugarbush, Waitsfield, Stowe, Burlington and many beautiful spots around Lake Champlain.

While we have many NY State weddings this year, we will be finishing up our NY state bookings by end of year with a hope to focus on Vermont solely.

Why?

When I started Heavenscent Floral Art over 10 years ago I had a dream of designing predominantly "Farm to Table" weddings in natural, rustic and earth friendly venues, private farms and homes. I have come to discover that Vermont is bursting at the seams with barns, and farms and all kinds of earth friendly wedding spaces…our heart pulled us this way, and we are slowly forming relationships with the local flower growers to fulfill my dream of supplying what's local and in season as much as we can.

Our new location is located in the older historic area of Waitsfield, and while we remain a private studio space by appointment only, we are in a wonderful commercial building so do come visit us (just shoot me an email first to ensure I'm here!). We are so excited and happy to be visiting new venues, forging new relationships and exploring this incredibly gorgeous state of Vermont.

Erica & Matt by Silverpen

This was one of our chilliest winter weddings ever, however, we filled the Hall of Springs with hundreds upon hundreds of candles which resulted in the chilly weather outside being quickly forgotten! Erica and Matt were a joy to work with, and came to us brimming with ideas only 4 months out. Erica had a vision of using heavy candlelight at her wedding and started sourcing literally hundreds of different candleholders for her event at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga, NY. The result was incredible and Tracey Buyce captured the effects of all this candlelight so beautifully.

This winter elegance theme had a color palette of white, cream, ivory, and grey. The flowers consisted of Anemone, Garden Roses, and Hydrangea with touches of Grey Dusty Miller and Silver Brunia.

The evening was topped off with a beautiful and unique naked cake!

Having only four months to plan a wedding can be daunting, but together with their wedding planner, Sarah Fitchman of Bisou Weddings, Erica & Matt had such a fun-filled affair that they were even highlighted in the media!

Ethan & Elizabeth by Silverpen

This was one of our favorite weddings to create....

Ethan & Elizabeth held their autumn wedding at a private residence in Queensbury, NY that resulted in a timeless, beautiful, and elegant affair. We used antique vessels supplied by the bride's mum to accent gorgeous rectangular vases filled with many local seasonal flowers and greenery. The long, tuscan style tables gave the feel of a casual and festive dinner party set outside on the property close to Elizabeth's childhood home.

Ethan & Elizabeth's wedding incorporated vintage and rustic elements to create a timeless, whimsical, and elegant theme. We used a color palette that consisted of antique rose, blush, and white with pops of burgundy and black, combined with accents of grey and dark greens.

The flowers consisted of Peach Juliette Garden Roses, Antique Hydrangea (local), Blush Ranunculus, Viburnum Berries (local), Dusty Miller (local), Queen Anne's Lace (local), and Dahlias (local) wrapped with an antique rose velvet ribbon. We left the ribbon ends long to create a very romantic feel to the bouquet.
